We are so excited that you subscribed! Please pass this along to your friends. We'd love for them to subscribe, too!

    Our First Newsletter

This is our first newsletter, so forgive us if it stinks!

With your input, some practice and maybe a little Febreze, our newsletters hopefully won't stink for long.

We'll do our best to entertain you with news about Cardyologies, crazy things Lexy does and says (she just turned three), some behind-the-scenes fun stuff, occasional "Ty"isms and who knows what else.

You think this stinks? You haven't seen our list pads!

    Behind-the-Scenes
We love to see how things are made, so this is behind-the-scenes of The Stinker.

Although it's not exactly the way Rodin (sculptor of The Thinker) would have done it, I made the toilet out of green Play-Doh.

Lexy was getting good at posing for us, so Ty only had to show her how to do it once and she kept doing it just right.

In fact, for months she would break out the Stinker pose every time she wanted to make us laugh. This was usually either when we were already rolling on the floor laughing from something else she did or when she wanted to make us laugh so we'd forget that she was in trouble. Smart girl.

Anyway, a Play-Doh toilet, Lexy's Stinker pose, a little computer magic and voila - The Stinker.

You can see behind-the-scenes of other cards when you click on the card pictures on our web site.

If it is something you enjoy, we'll include Behind-The-Scenes in future newsletters. Let us know!

    Dad Gum It!!!
Lexy is so dad-gum funny! Here's just a little story:

Lexy was watching cartoons in the living room, Ty was here somewhere, and I was working at the computer - imagine that.
I suddenly sneezed the biggest sneeze...

    "Haaahhh Choooooooo!!!"

From the sofa Lexy yelled, "Bleeeeesss Yooouuuuu!!!"

That was kind of cute, but a few seconds later she yelled, "Daaaaaddd Guuuuummm!!!"

    Make People Healthy
You can make other people more healthy!

Although we call ourselves "Cardyologists", we are not really doctors (we're only dorctors). Many real doctors that say humor and laughter are healthy for your heart and your well-being.

First, you feel good about sending someone a greeting card. Then, if the receiver gets a chuckle out of it, they are not just getting a card - they're getting a small dose of health, thanks to you!

Our humorous greeting cards are an excellent treatment for a variety of occasions - such as birthdays, anniversaries and more.

More on the healthy benefits of humor in future issues to come.
