Behind the Scenes
of the holiday cards:
Hoe, Hoe, Hoe,
Holiday Cheer, Holiday Seasoning
& Baby New Year
Hoe, Hoe, Hoe
Hoe, Hoe, Hoe! Merry Christmas from Santa & his hoes!
On this one we drew, painted and cut out the gardening
Santa, decorated a hoe with beads, red duct tape and
Lexy's Santa hat and "transplanted" my Grandma's
poinsettias to the back of her house.
2001 Christmas cards Most of the computer magic was
with the hoes - there was actually
only one.

The hat looks cuter on Lexy, huh?
(This was the first holiday card
Lexy sent to family & friends.)
Holiday Cheer
Sending you some holiday cheer!
Our little 2-year-old cheerleader - we didn't know she
would naturally do some cheerleader poses, but she
surprised us and cracked us up - as usual.
She actually had a Dolphins cheerleader suit on because
orange and teal were the closest colors to red and green I
could find. (I adjusted the colors in the computer.) I cut out
a felt snowflake for the front, mostly covering the dolphin.
Lexy had fun with this one!

Holiday Seasoning
Add a pinch of this holiday seasoning to spice it up this year!
This one included little tiny Christmas packages
from Hobby Lobby. I changed the label on the jar
and voila - holiday seasoning.
Baby New Year
Now we can leave last year behind!
Lexy was 11 months old, so we were also taking one of her
special monthly pictures for our wall of 8 x 10s.
She had just learned how to walk, so she just kept
getting up and walking away. She thought it was a
fun game. (Fun for her.)
Where would you like to go now?
