Behind the Scenes of these cards: Bouquet of Happiness, From Your Buds, No Peeking, Picky, Punk Rock, Spring Chicken, The Stinker, You Crack Me Up

Spring Chicken
When I was a kid my Dad
made this bird sculpture
from my Grandpa's scrap
iron.
He had to move it with a
backhoe so I could take
pictures of it for this card.
From Your Buds
Our real buds aren't this quiet.
Picky
This was the easiest card we've made so far.
It isn't difficult to get a 2-year-old to pick her nose!
Getting her to stop is the trick!
The Stinker
Ty has had this idea for years, not knowing we'd
make it for a greeting card.
I made the toilet
out of play-doh and
Lexy loves to make
us laugh by doing
"the stinker pose."
What a little stinker!
Punk Rock
This was inspired by my (Kelly's) old boyfriend, Andy.
In high school, way back in 1990 in this small town of
Enid, he had a mohawk and went to school one day
with it spiked up. He was sent home, so the next day
he went to school with it spiked up and blue.
Bouquet of Happiness
The ladies at Huffman Floral in Enid, OK,
never had a request like this before.
No Peeking
For Lexy's first two years
I took special pictures of her
every single month, and this
was one of her 8-month
pictures. The washtub was
actually filled with about 30 little
ducks and all she wanted to do
was eat them!
You Crack Me Up
Inspired by the plumbers
of America, this was taken
during the construction of my
Mom & Stad's (Step-Dad's)
house.
Lexy helps with everything,
in her own way.
